The Portfolio Holder for Growth will be asked to approve a draft development brief prepared by developers Persimmon Homes, for Land south of Burwell Road, Exning, for adoption as planning guidance.
That the draft Land south of Burwell Road, Exning Development Brief, as contained in Appendix A to Report number: CAB/WS/21/017, be adopted as planning guidance.
The Portfolio Holder for Growth considers the Development Brief for Land south of Burwell Road, Exning has been prepared in accordance with the Council’s adopted protocol for the preparation of development briefs. The draft document is consistent with the adopted Local Plan allocation for the development of the site and has been subject to public consultation.
Adoption of the draft Development Brief will now enable the Council to shape the nature and content of current and future planning applications for this allocated site.
The draft Development Brief is consistent with the adopted Local Plan allocation for the development of the site. Therefore, other options regarding the potential development of the site have not been considered as part of this process. Adoption of the draft Development Brief as planning guidance will not preclude alternative development options being considered in the future.
