Following previous approval given in November 2017 to proceed with making an application to the Charity Commission to seek an amendment to the existing charity scheme in respect of the transfer of the managing trustee role for the Guildhall and 79 Whiting Street as part of the Guildhall Project, the Cabinet will be asked toadopt any new charity scheme that will arise from that application following due diligence by the other project partners.
RESOLVED:
That a Deed of Variation be prepared and signed to enable the transfer of the managing trustee role for the Guildhall and 79 Whiting Street, Bury St Edmunds from St Edmundsbury Borough Council to the Bury St Edmunds Heritage Trust.
