Fee received to the value of £328 (as set by the Local Government Association (LGA)) for preparing and delivering a virtual presentation on 22 January 2021 about the role of planning committees in general, including Cllr Smith's perspective as Chair of West Suffolk Council's Development Control [planning] Committee. The presentation was a training module that the Planning Advisory Service were delivering along with the LGA and Government Equalities Office that was designed to encourage people who have taken a career break to return to work in planning within local government.
