Suffolk County Council is responsible in Suffolk for undertaking local government scrutiny of health provision. It has established a Committee for this purpose, with representation from the Overview & Scrutiny Committees of the District/Borough Councils in the County.
The Suffolk Health Scrutiny Committee has responsibility for the scrutiny of wellbeing and health services across the County and may review and scrutinise any matter relating to the planning, provision and operation of health services in the County.
